Setup


The Setup form is for defining the locations of files and directories used by TenDoc TDS.


  • Output Folders - The directories which the TDS will use to save Tenders and Letters respectively.


  • Database File - The location of the TDS's database.


  • Help Start Page - The location of the TDS's help files (the index.html file)


  • Company Logo - The path (and a preview box) of the graphic file containing your firm's logo.


  • Changed by - The user name of the person who last changed these settings.


Setup Form

Simply type in the relevant paths, or use the buttons to browse for the files you are using. Click Save when you are ready to implement the new settings.

The Output Folder and Logo settings will be effective immediately. A changed Database File will become effective the next time you log into the system.

Note: Output folders must be valid directories, ie: "C:\MyFiles\Tenders\", else an error will be caused when the TDS tries to save a file in a non-existent directory.

Note: Changes to the Output Folders and the Company Logo will apply to all users, the Database and Help location affect only the machine which is being used by the person who altered them. (ie. in a shared environment, Output Folders & Logo would be changed only once, while the other setting will have to be changed on each machine on which the application is installed).
