Response Form
Keeping track of Vendor responses to a Tender.
This form is for keeping track of the responses to a Tender by each associated Vendor. Choosing
a Tender from the selection list (top right) will display all of it's linked Vendors in the
Vendor list below it (middle right).
Select a Vendor from this list to display the details of their response.
- Vendor Responded - Check this box when a response has been received. This will
allow you to enter further information in the spaces below.
- Date Received - The date (and time, if desired) on which the response to the tender was received.
Click the Today button to automatically fill in the current date and time.
- Bid Amount - The dollar value of the bid (default = 0).
- Bid Details - A description of the bid/response.
- Contact Information - The Vendor's contact person regarding this specific Tender.
Clicking the Use Defaults button will fill these fields with the Vendor's contact information
as it appears in the Vendor Maintenance form.
Double-click on the e-mail address to send a message to the contact using the MS Internet Explorer's
default e-mail program.
- Save Button - Save changes made to the current record.
- Refresh Button - Reload information from the database.
