Letter Maintenance Form

This form is for keeping the vendor database up to date. Here you can add, modify, or delete letters. To browse the list of letters, click on the desired letter title in the list (if the list is already active, you can scroll through it with the Up & Down cursor keys).

Letter Maintenance Form

  • Index # - This refers to the ID number the TDS uses to uniquely identify each letter entered in the system. It is for internal use only.


  • Title - The title of this particular letter. It will appear in the list on the right side of the form, and will not be printed in the actual letter. Max. 75 characters.


  • Description - For informational use. Up to 255 characters for a more detailed description of the letter's contents. Optional.


  • Text Body - The main text of the letter. Do not include Vendor/Return addresses here, they will be added later. There is no maximum length for the letter, and (unformatted) text can be pasted in from another application if desired.


  • Accents - For users who are not using multi-lingual keyboards: Press the button for the desired accent, then type the required character. If the selected accent is applicable to that letter, then it will appear as the next character, otherwise the letter will be unmodified.


  • Signed Name/Title - The name and title of the writer. The creator's user account is used by default, and can only be overwritten by an Aministrator.
